This game has changed so much from the last time I played (around 2017) I miss the old version but the new update really added so many elements and content to the game. I'm glad this game is still relevant and popular among the other idol games

At first, I thought the advertised '1001 draws' was deceptive, but after downloading, I discovered that such rewards do exist. However, they require completing tasks. Now that I've finished the tasks, I've accumulated 1001 draws through repeated missions))))) Perhaps the number 1001 is related to One Thousand and One Nights, considering this is a game themed around fairy tales, albeit dark ones.

The games gives so much for F2P players! I have only spent the initial purchase w/c they will provide Genie and no other purchases made because of the resources they provide! Love this game! Come and Build Your Team Formation
I know that some of the tips I give you in this guide sound basic, but as I see so many players doing them wrong I think it’s valuable that I point them out here. Also, I’m sure that you will take away something from this guide if you go through it to the very end.
In the beginning, it’s easy to get away with a bad team formation in Tales of Grimm as you can easily level up and then snowball through the enemies, but as the level deficit gets bigger and it gets harder and harder to strengthen your characters, this technique will comes to an end and you have to fine-tune your formation-
Pick Strong Characters
Yes, it might sound lame and boring and obvious, but still, some players tend to use characters that look cool or they got early on in the game and use them because they upgraded them well. Also, some character skills read pretty strong but aren’t that strong after all or some characters also do great in the early- to mid-game in Tales of Grimm and then fall off later and become weak(er).
General Team Formation
Okay, the general structure should be one main tank, one support character that can heal and then fill in single-target damage and area-damage dealer. Without a tank you need a lot more healing, without healing you will struggle a lot unless you form a really strong burst damage formation.
You normally see quickly what’s missing, either when your characters die too fast although you have a healer you need a tank. If you have a tank but still characters die you’re not having enough healing. Same for damage. There’s no single master recipe and it comes to trial and error sometimes.
Alignment Bonus
More important than that is, and I still can’t believe that so many players ignore it, the alignment bonus and counters as well as Radiant Force in your team formation in Tales of Grimm.

The following Tales of Grimm tier list ranks the characters in six tiers; tier 0, tier 1, tier 2, tier 3, tier 4, and tier 5. The OP characters list is under tier 0. The best characters list under tier 1. The good characters list is under tier 2. The decent/OK characters list is under tier 3. Another tier, tier 4, features characters that are not worthy of investment. Tier 5 features the worthless characters.
Tier 0: OP(Meta, Overpowered)

Before we head to the Tales of Grimm tier list below, let’s look at the character roles in the game. The four main character roles are Warrior, Guardian, Mage, and Support.
Warrior role characters are good at inflicting DMG and fighting enemies in close range. Guardian role characters are tough to beat because of their high DEF and DMG resistance abilities; they usually stand in the front and do the job of protecting allies, soaking DMG, and providing shields to the allies.
Like Warrior, mage role characters are good at inflicting DMG; the difference b/w mage and warrior role characters is that Mage characters possess CC abilities, ranged ATK skills, and can apply debuffs on the enemies.
Supporter role characters play a vital role in the battle by supporting the allies by giving them buffs, boosts, healing, etc. It’s always a good idea to build a balanced team;
There should be at least one supporter role in the team for healing, guardian character to protect allies, and the other three could be DMG dealers in Warrior/Mage roles. Alternatively, players can go with X2 guardian role characters, X2 DMG dealers, and X1 Supporter for a defensive build.

Newbie Lineup Strategy Guide for the New Version
Many new players who have just entered the game may initially feel overwhelmed by the variety of cards, unsure of whom to invest in and how to do so. Therefore, the most important thing is to know which cards are worth investing in. Here, we'll briefly introduce some cards that are generally considered good investments.
Warriors: White Snow, Robin, White Horse
- White Snow: No need for much explanation, the Mirror Queen's daughter, strong from beta to now. Widely used in various lineups, excelling in both tankiness and explosive output.
- Robin: A rare one-turn burst card, effective against many two-turn burst lineups. Drawback: Limited availability of the card!
- White Horse: Primarily a power unit. Paired with Elira, it deals high damage (recommended for early-game spenders).
Mages: Wendy, Medusa, Elira, White Chess, Marlene
- Wendy: Despite the dispel of infection, Wendy can still deal decent damage, especially when paired with Medusa for a nice synergy.
- Medusa: Often overlooked, but Medusa is powerful both in control and damage. The 3-turn cooldown reduces her downtime, making her formidable in Tower Climbing and Endless Trials.
- Elira: A light-element god card, a 15-star Elira can even win against chained dogs. Hope you understand what I mean! Recommend pairing with double Mages or White Horse, as solo carry may result in defeat.
- White Chess: The rise of the Light Mage, replacing the positions of Birdbrain and Mary as the new output in the Light Mage lineup. Recommended for pure Light Mage teams. Invest in her if you're a spender!
- Marlene: Pure Dark explosive output, boosted by the Seven Deadly Sins. No one can resist once she starts.
Only elaborating on damage-dealing cards; brief mentions for Guardians and Supports. Early on, use whoever you have for Guardians and Supports.
Guardians: Any can be used, with the best being Mordo, Genie, Sula, True/False Princess.
Supports: Sea Snail, Nacy, Sophie, Toto, Mad Granny.
Initial lineup suggestion: One Guardian, Two damage dealers, Two Supports.
If investing in White Snow and Robin, you can blindly go for Three Supports.

Many new players who have just entered the game may initially feel overwhelmed by the variety of cards, unsure of whom to invest in and how to do so. Therefore, the most important thing is to know which cards are worth investing in. Here, we'll briefly introduce some cards that are generally considered good investments.
Warriors: White Snow, Robin, White Horse
- White Snow: No need for much explanation, the Mirror Queen's daughter, strong from beta to now. Widely used in various lineups, excelling in both tankiness and explosive output.
- Robin: A rare one-turn burst card, effective against many two-turn burst lineups. Drawback: Limited availability of the card!
- White Horse: Primarily a power unit. Paired with Elira, it deals high damage (recommended for early-game spenders).
Mages: Wendy, Medusa, Elira, White Chess, Marlene
- Wendy: Despite the dispel of infection, Wendy can still deal decent damage, especially when paired with Medusa for a nice synergy.
- Medusa: Often overlooked, but Medusa is powerful both in control and damage. The 3-turn cooldown reduces her downtime, making her formidable in Tower Climbing and Endless Trials.
- Elira: A light-element god card, a 15-star Elira can even win against chained dogs. Hope you understand what I mean! Recommend pairing with double Mages or White Horse, as solo carry may result in defeat.
- White Chess: The rise of the Light Mage, replacing the positions of Birdbrain and Mary as the new output in the Light Mage lineup. Recommended for pure Light Mage teams. Invest in her if you're a spender!
- Marlene: Pure Dark explosive output, boosted by the Seven Deadly Sins. No one can resist once she starts.
Only elaborating on damage-dealing cards; brief mentions for Guardians and Supports. Early on, use whoever you have for Guardians and Supports.
Guardians: Any can be used, with the best being Mordo, Genie, Sula, True/False Princess.
Supports: Sea Snail, Nacy, Sophie, Toto, Mad Granny.
