hi hi everyone, i’ve been seeing a lot of people get scammed here lately and so i felt like sharing my tips to avoid scammers! it’s not 100% certain that it’s always the same, but they sure help me a lot ![[微笑]](/cdn/img/transparent.png)
1. first of all, the best way to avoid a scammer is to NOT TRADE AT ALL!!!!
i know i’ve been trading on this app for quite a while now, but i do know that trading is putting your own self in risk of getting scammed. but if you’re like me and is not patient at all and always want to get your dcs as soon as possible, please:
2. always check the trader’s profile. scammers usually have no reviews/notes/cards on their profile cuz they only use that acc to trade/scam. if they do have something, try to see:
3. how often they “interact”. if it’s frequent, it’s almost certain that that’s the trader’s main account, or also if they have a lot of notes/cards and likes on their profile (which means they made other posts before, but most likely deleted it).
4. if you’re a active trader, always make sure to check wtt/uft posts’ comments. you’ll start to recognize some profiles, and if they are active too, they’re probably not a scammer. also, by checking wtt/uft posts, you can see a big variety of accs and will know if someone is “reusing” someone’s else acc to scam you UNLESS they were the someone op traded with.
5. sometimes people make posts calling out scammers, so make sure to block them (scammers) asap!! it will prevent them of interacting with your future trading posts.
6. person has no posts on their profile, is not active, and asked if they could send you their offer on another app while saying they “can’t post pictures here”, or something similar to that? be careful!!!! they must be trying to scam you. if they ask you for another socmed so they can send their offer, they’re probably trying to make you won’t recognize the acc. that’s why, if you’re a active trader, you must always be up to new trading posts!! especially to highball accs.
7. if you’re the op (original post), ALWAYS ask them to send the acc’s info first. not “at the same time”, if they’re not a scammer they won’t be afraid of sending their info first.
8. to avoid having your acc used by scammers, please use watermarks!! they’re really useful for that matter![[不滿]](/cdn/img/transparent.png)
that’s it for now, i hope i could be of help :)) Read Note
