Last night there was a 7.3 magnitude earthquake hitting north Japan near Fukushima, where it had a severe earthquake that damaged the nuclear plant and caused the nuclear leakage several years ago. For now, there are at least 4 confirmed fatalities.
Every time when I experience a mild earthquake I always humor myself by thinking White Beard might be using his devil's fruit ability. But this time it is all sadness. I really hope that there are no more casualties and everyone STAY SAFE!

The anime will be produced by WIT STUDIO, the animation studio that made the first 3 seasons of Attack on Titan and Ranking of Kings.
It's scheduled to premiere in the summer of this year. Pretty exciting if you ask me

As I was listening to the anime songs playlist, I got curious about the singers of those songs. Then I realized that there were actually a few opening or ending songs were performed by Korean singers instead of native Japanese singers. It's kind of interesting to see how the music could bond people among different areas.
I once heard people say that Japanese and Korean languages are quite similar, so you can spend less time learning the other if you already know either one. Maybe that's why Korean singers sound good on Japanese songs. Of course, the business strategies also encourage Korean agencies to put more effort into the Japanese market.

In less than two months, the Hedgehog Sonic's second film will be coming out. Yet, Paramount already announced that the development of the third film has started! Also, Knuckles is going to have his own show on Paramount+ (it's actually the first time I know there's such a streaming platform though)
According to Sega's CEO Haruki Satomi, they are having a good partnership with Paramount so they're willing to keep on expanding the Sonic franchise. I hope someday Sonic and Tails will have their own show series too and hopefully on Netflix

Have you ever thought of one day that the classic story The Lord of the Rings being adapted into an anime? Well, it's a reality now! Last year in June, a film studio New Line Cinema announced an anime prequel film The War of the Rohirrim based on The Lord of the Rings series. . This new film is set 250 years before the Lord of the Rings film trilogy as a prequel. The production is in conjunction with Warner Bros. Animation and Kenji Kamiyama, a renowned Japanese anime director who worked on several famous projects like Haikyu, Ultraman, Ghost in the Shell...etc.
Two days ago it was confirmed that the film will premiere in April 2024, and also revealed concept art. It still got 2 more years to go, but that'll be interesting I reckon!
