colliseum tips (pvp)
here a few tips to start in the colliseum and win (most of them) matches
1 - The first and most important thing before starting a match, is the quickness of your team, this defines who goes first and gives a massive advantage in how the match can go, the quickness of you team is based in two things, the compatibility of your characters and the equipment, the game has 3 factions, "justice choujin", "evil choujin" and "perfect choujin", if you have characters of the same faction you will get a bonus in the quickness of your team, with the equipment you wat to have terryman's boots (it's the most cost effective equipment for quickness, I suggest to always use your rainbow skull just for those and buffaloman's horns for attack) Read Note

when your character dies it has a very small chance to trigger the "Burning Inner Strength"(火事場のクソ力), this allow your character to revive (with almost no HP) and have their power bar full, it's not easy to pull because it happens at random

how to "follow up attack"
the follow up attack is an assist from one of your second row characters, it triggers if the enemy survives a special attack (while using the pursuit boost)

how to increase the "pursuit" boost
"pursuit" is the option to the side of "tag", once you charge this option up to 100%, you will have a massive boost in your next attack, once used it will deplete completely
In this example you can see all the attacks, each attack will give you a different % once you use them, you can combine the bronze attack into a silver and two of those into a gold one (you also have the special attacks that you unlock once you charge your character's power bar, if you don't use the special attack you can use other attack to chargw beyond yellow in the power bar and deal more damage with the special attack, rearanging and combining lower attacks like bronze and silver will also charge the bar)
here you have all the % for all type of attacks and how much they charge the pursuit boost

silver attack = 15%
gold attack = 30%
special attack = 20% (this one is a waste to use it without the boost to be honest) Read Note

rare monsters
it seems some monsters are more rare to appear in the game than others, I confirmed this as I only encounter Drake Mage mage in 2-6, if you are unlucky you would fight against 6 army ants instead(which are pretty common monster in the second book)

swords > metal slimes
I just tried a full (almost) team made of swords and I must say, these things have the highest rate to deal damage to these little metal bastards, the second time I used this team I finished the bubble slime stage in like 4 turns (I did a doble mix attack in the second turn and that deal a lot of damage to all the metal slimes) I put the old man just to see if I could catch any of them or at least avoid for them to escape
