According to the Japanese research company User Local, the number of Vtubers in their database has exceeded 16,000. WOW, I mean that is a lot of Vtubers. More importantly, it is still increasing. It's just like how YouTube made its entrance and thrived, more and more content creators are present. The number has increased another 3,000 in less than a year. What a growing industry!
I originally didn't think that I'd watch any of them until I fell into the rabbit hole of Gura's...now I'm watching the whole Hololive EN members' streams.![[怪笑]](/cdn/img/transparent.png)

Just a few hours ago, Gawr Gura the superstar of Hololive EN, has reached 2.97M subscribers and surpassed the first recognized Vtuber Kizuna AI becoming the most subscribed Vtuber. The amazing part is that it hasn't even been one year since the Hololive EN debut in September 2020. I personally love to watch her video clips as she's really fun and adorable.
