Ryu firstly appeared in the most classic arcade fighting game Street Fighter in 1987. The white sleeveless outfit and the red headband became his signature. I believe almost every weeb heard HADOUKEN or SHORYUKEN at least once at some point. He and his best friend/rival Ken were the ones who made this viral! Let's wish him a happy birthday!
