Storyline
An arcane rift has opened between the vibrant realms of Puyo Puyo and the vast, mystical Multiverse of Magic: The Gathering. Characters from both universes must unite to restore balance and close the rift. Players will solve Puyo puzzles influenced by MTG themes to progress through chapters and face off against legendary MTG characters.
Mechanics & Features
Planeswalker Characters:
Planeswalkers like Jace Beleren, Chandra Nalaar, Liliana Vess, and Gideon Jura appear as special characters that players can recruit.
Each Planeswalker has unique skills modeled after their MTG abilities, but adapted to the Puyo Puyo puzzle mechanics.
Mana Puyo:
Special mana Puyos representing the five colors of mana (White, Blue, Black, Red, Green) drop on the field. Matching these Puyos charges up powerful MTG-themed spells.
Mana Puyos can trigger special effects like area-of-effect damage, healing, or support boosts, depending on the color matched.
Event Stages and Boss Battles:
The event stages feature familiar MTG planes like Ravnica, Dominaria, and Zendikar.
Boss battles against iconic MTG creatures like Nicol Bolas, Emrakul, and other legendary characters.
Special co-op boss events where players can team up to defeat powerful Eldrazi bosses.
Magic Spell Cards:
Players can collect and use MTG spell cards that grant special abilities or effects during puzzles.
Cards like “Lightning Bolt” for direct damage, “Giant Growth” for attack boosts, and “Counterspell” to negate certain enemy moves.
Limited-Time Gacha:
A limited-time gacha pool featuring exclusive MTG crossover characters and items.
Special summoning animations featuring Planeswalkers.
Daily and Weekly Challenges:
Challenges that offer unique rewards, like exclusive characters or spell cards, upon completion.
Special puzzle conditions and modifiers to increase difficulty and strategy.
