Godzilla has been getting a rise in popularity thanks to the Monsterverse films, Shin Godzilla, and the anime Godzilla SP. Yokai Watch has referenced Godzilla before, such as Clodzilla and Narwail (his theme and battle are a homage to Gojira/Shin Godzilla). To see Yokai Watch Puni Puni have a Godzilla-related event would be the best thing ever. Read Note
