EllyOfficial QooApp#LiveAction Recently live action movies have been a hot topic among otaku.
Gintama movie made it to one of the top grossing movies last year, and another Jump manga - Bleach, finally had a live action movie. School-Live! also got a movie - which was a big surprise when it was announced last year. Touken Ranbu’s musicals were so popular that in the end a movie is made featuring the same cast.

IGN just got some rumors earlier today that Netflix is developing a live-action film of one of the most popular IPs from CAPCOM, Mega Man. I mean...I am probably not a big fan of anime-adapted live-action movies because everyone knows that there's a great possibility it's going to be a disaster (remember the first edition of Sonic The Hedgehog and Dragonball Evolution...?)
I think the best situation is when the CG and the real-life actors are working under a great balance. I hope they don't screw this up Read Note

This meme explains what I'm thinking about the upcoming One Piece live-action series on Netflix. There are basically NO other live-action products that are acceptable except the Rurouni Kenshin trilogy...Gosh, I hope this doesn't ruin my mood for watching the anime later on. Read Note
MaiTop Contributor#LiveAction Personally, I think there a huge different between LiveAction Stage, LiveAction Movie and LiveAction Nelflix Series.
I am ok with LiveAction Stage and LiveAction Movie. Even though the production team cannot ensure 100% accuracy, they stay professional on the atmosphere/appearanceof the characters.
But for the Netflix Adoption, theu are more like: Well F__k that Sh_t we can cash in tons of money anyway. Those nerds are going to love it.
Just look at the Netflix Death Notes, look an Yagami. I think 99% people can agree that is a failure in Anime Live Action.
