Within only a few days of opening, Paper Games has announced that the Korean Server for Shining Nikki will be shutting down by next month.
This development comes after Korean players were angered by the server's opening event, which depicted a hanbok (a traditional Korean dress) as being part of traditional Chinese fashion.
Paper Games removed the offending outfit after the initial outrage, but defended their stance by claiming that traditional Korean clothing was "learned" from traditional Chinese court fashion.
This response only further angered players, who then proceeded to review-bomb the game and harshly criticize Paper Games, who retaliated by announcing the server's shutdown.
