The Tokyo Olympics 2020 came to a close yesterday. It has been an amazing experience for the audience, sports fans, and even weeb fans. Congratulations to all the athletes who got the medals. As an anime fan and video gamer, they surprised me with the opening ceremony with the masterpiece original soundtracks of video games like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Monster Hunters...and more. During the game, they played anime opening songs for specific sports that we can relate the animes to! 
As a lot of people expected, they did it again at the closing ceremony. They organized a performance session with the song Gurenge, the opening of the worldwide popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. I'm really happy that they're proud of spreading this amazing otaku culture to every corner around the world. I would say, the Olympics this year was also a mini AnimeJapan!
