Grateful Allegiance Thoughts

It's official!
In terms of following their music and after more than a week of playing songs and stuff, I have noticed that I am listening and downloading songs from two certain units.
Switch and Knights.
Well, it's a no-brainer haha. With Leo on the helm and with me having an Izumi card as well, I'm warming up to these guys. But ever since I played this since launch, as much as I love the bois, there are just a couple of songs that caught my attention.
The one that caught it first from the first batch of songs was Voice of Sword. Then after that Blooming World and JoyfulxBox.
But I digress.
We be discussing Grateful Allegiance here which sealed the deal for me being a Knights girl.
While listening to this song, their meaning is usually direct and gives me visuals that aren't that far from the essence of their songs.
However, me having internal visuals while listening to a song is not common but it's not so rare as well. I guess if a song really made an impression on me, my mind churns out some scenarios.
And in Grateful Allegiance, it's simple and grounded. A knight pledging his allegiance to a princess.
Simple. Short. Easy. Sweet. Lovely.
Note that my thoughts are expressed by someone who is not aware of the real stories behind the songs through Basic or other ES game before ES Music(current game).
However, I received a tip that the background story of this song was actually sad and with that in mind, while I listened to it, the scenario transformed.
It was still the Knight and the Princess but...the Knight has unrequited love for the Princess. A love that he knew will never be returned but he kept on holding for his feelings as well as his allegiance to her close to his heart.
And no, I still haven't known the real reason of the song's background story in the game and I'm still thinking if I should kill the cat and satisfy my curiosity or not
Still this just goes to show that my first impression without knowing versus knowing some additional info behind the song can actually change the visuals in my head when listening to their songs.
An interesting development, if I do say so myself.

I remember someone from my post #EngStarsTop3 that they liked Switch because of their freshness and boy, I could not agree more.
What's more, their new song dropped and boy THIS IS MY FAVE NOW!
Why? Well, other than it's just as fresh as their first song, this one actually triggered my Sora-like senses haha.
Their first song made me think back to when Owl City made his debut with Fireflies. And just like Owl City, Switch gave me this feeling of, 'oh, wow, I've never heard this before. I usually hear this kind of thing used in something so annoying but when put it like this, I love it!' (talking about the synth that time lol)
The same thought more or less matches with Switch because other than Valkyrie, their approach in music is very unique. And I love myself some unique.
But I digress.
As for the analysis in their new song, Emerald Planet, I ADORE IT!!!!
Again, why?
This has a very futuristic feel to it, as if you are outside of Earth, without being too overbearing. It's still fresh and light to the senses that doesn't make you feel like being sucked in a black hole somewhere like other otherworldly songs use to make me feel sometimes.
While listening to this song, imagine yourself at the cockpit of a space ship. Even while seated comfortably inside, you know that the sleek and the glossy surface of the ship reflects the surroundings making it look transparent or nearly invisible in the sky.
Hands on the unique and alien steering wheel, you pilot and fly the ship with precision through the clouds, their white fluffy exteriors idly passing by the window as I soar through the skies.
And...
Emerald Planet by Switch playing on your ship's radio system as you draw near a majestic and towering floating city of an unknown alien world. Just beyond the horizon, ready to welcome you from your planet-hopping on this nice and sunny day.
And you can't wait to get to out of your ship and explore the wonderful world of the beyond.
Next stop, Emerald Planet.

Valkyrie is such....!!!! Argh!!!
I love classical and musicals and Valkyrie is definitely going to be one of my go-to units if I want my classical/musical fix.
Their songs so far gives me the vibe of someone watching the theater of Swan Lake or Nutcracker. Then I feel like I'm watching a ballet or something.
If Sora from Switch can see colors through music, I can smell fragrance and get to imagine scenarios based on a song(lol not really but you get it).
If Madara's song sends me to a bright and sunny day in the middle of a clover field, Valkyrie's songs send me to a private box in a dark theater with nothing but me and the performance on stage.
Their songs also smell like the Classics, a good but old worn book which smells F A N T A S T I C!!!
Another characteristic that prompts me to imagine myself sitting in a comfy sofa in front of a fireplace and reading a good book in the middle of the night with a warm tea waiting for me on the table.

I thought of just carrying on and using this platform to post the stuff that I've been taking screenshots from the games I've been playing.
