Today we celebrate the birthday of Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka! Without him choosing to spare Nezuko's life in the first episode, we wouldn't have such a great story to begin with. Being touched by the way Tanjiro reacted to her sister, he gave them a chance and had Tanjiro find his teacher Sakonji Urokodaki. Also was willing to break the rules of the Corps and protected Nezuko from being killed by Shinobu while trusting she was different from the other demons. The trading card game Build Divide was launched by Aniplex last year in April along with two seasons of anime. It is essentially a modern Yu-Gi-Oh of which rumors say that you can make your dream come true if you win this card game.
The card game only has a few decks available now since it's still pretty young. This collaboration with the popular series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba is the 3rd wave of the collectibles. The pack options are a starting deck and a booster pack.

The Japanese airline ANA announced its collaboration with one of the most popular manga/anime series, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. There will be a plane to be painted with the art design originated from the series and will also release the onboard accessories like cups and toy card plates. The anime episodes can be watched onboard in the entertainment system (maybe even Mugen train too?)
Personal opinion, it is cool to see anime works being painted on the plane, but this one looks a bit awkward to my taste. I don't know, perhaps it's the color or the composition that doesn't match the body of the plane. The collab itself is a great move though! Nice to see more of this coming for more brands

The Tokyo Olympics 2020 came to a close yesterday. It has been an amazing experience for the audience, sports fans, and even weeb fans. Congratulations to all the athletes who got the medals. As an anime fan and video gamer, they surprised me with the opening ceremony with the masterpiece original soundtracks of video games like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Monster Hunters...and more. During the game, they played anime opening songs for specific sports that we can relate the animes to!
As a lot of people expected, they did it again at the closing ceremony. They organized a performance session with the song Gurenge, the opening of the worldwide popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba. I'm really happy that they're proud of spreading this amazing otaku culture to every corner around the world. I would say, the Olympics this year was also a mini AnimeJapan!
