Best New Project By Square Enix?

Square Enix has a number of old and legendary series under their brand, but they also have some new small scale franchise here and there. Project Tokyo Dolls is exactly one of these small franchises. 

It does not have an anime like Toji no Miko which is also Square Enix's proud creation. It does not have a global version, and the Traditional Chinese version is long gone already. Yet it still has a faithful fandom to keep it running, a rating of 4.6 on App Store, 3.8 on Google Play, 4.6 on QooApp - which is a relatively high rating in terms of mobile games. It is not exaggerating to say this may be one of best newer projects by the developer. 

The most obvious reason to play Project Tokyo Dolls must be the fantastic animation. Whether it be the story, the team edit page, the actual battle, or the gacha, all characters are well-rendered in 3D. It is quite battery-draining and kinda laggy on older models, but it's worth the battery - trust me, 3D just makes interaction with the girls much better and more fun. Another downside is that the animation may lead to incredibily long loading time, which is one thing that some players complain about even after a few years. 

And there is this fun turn-based combat system. Some consider turn-based boring, but this time Square Enix makes it an action prompt - each time you hit a prompt, you deal a certain number of damage in accordance with the time you hit it. This element certainly is a breath of fresh air in the mobile game universe.
