Here's another simple deck I came up with called "Defensive Gengar". It's mostly trainer cards with only two Pokemon (Mr. Mime and the Gengar line).
The key here is to have Mr. Mime hold the fort while you power up your Gastly into Gengar. The trainer cards do multiple tasks of giving you the evo cards you need and screwing with your opponent so they don't wind up getting the upper hand.
So far I've had better luck with this deck than my last one in battles, so its a semi-serious deck that can be used both casually and competitively.
