Limbus Company is friendly
There's literally no other gacha game like Limbus Company to a girl. I'm totally biased and subjective, but no one has proven me wrong yet.
Arknights? Very good gameplay. But the f:m characters ratio AND furry men on top of that tell me everything and make it only more painful to fully enjoy.
Fate Grand Order? Gameplay is boring and gacha rates suck.
Genshin? Honkai? Once again, f:m ratio and maybe stop making literal infant girls characters, ty.
What else is there? Path to nowhere and other interesting games, where you can even choose the gender of your MC, are still "a bit" unfair, don't you think? And apparently, girls don't play anything "too complicated", so with all the male cast I get only rhythm-games and Touken Ranbu (which btw is closing).
There's literally NOTHING like Limbus Company.
That's why all this situation now sucks. It sucks immensely. It's painful. And it's hard to let go. Because I personally thought it would be an example. Of how interesting and friendly to all genders gacha game can be. That it can be not only a fanservice game. Or, rather, there's a completely different type of fanservice, more focused on cool, elegant, funny and gory costumes.
But apparently it's too much to ask to have ONE GAME with challenging gameplay and various colorful cast. Somehow, girls (and gays?) are satisfied with the minimum of male characters and half-naked girls. But wait - a male character has shown his skin??? Wait, wait, we can't approve of that, now can we?
It's a rant. It's a very subjective rant. But it's not like I told a lie and let me rant, gddmt.
I hope there will be an incredible gacha one day, with beautiful art, immersive story and challenging gameplay. With mostly male cast and "feminine" mc (like, the mc would wear a long skirt, but you can't see their face and they're referred to as "they"). The game actually will be so good that literally everyone would like to try it out. They would be a bit confused by the "sudden change", but oh well. God, I wish...
If I somehow missed the perfect "replacement" for Limbus Company in the gacha world, please tell me, I would really appreciate that. Interesting gameplay, beautiful art, normal f:m ratio, without fanservice or fanservice for everyone.
Now that I think about it, Cookie Run Kingdom fits pretty well... I guess, such games are okay if you're a cookie.
