How to ruin a summer banner (updated 24.6.)

Summer banners coming up and was somewhat interested in seeing our harmacist duo in a bikini. But as with all things, Tencent ruined that too.

Originally Mary was supposed to be a shotgun user (jiggles ftw):

but Tensh [發火] t decided to ruin things by changing her to a bloody sniper:

And on a minor note, they also swapped her flip flops to a pair of... ballerina shoes?
Regardless, i just lost half of my motivation to roll in the upcoming banner.
Yay or Nay? How do you feel about the last minute changes?

Edit. They also ruined Summer Neon by giving her a completely useless burst skill.
She literally does less damage with it than her SR version (shotguns average 200+% dmg per attack. Neon's burst turns her into shotty that does at most 22% dmg per attack).

If you haven't rolled for her yet, don't (unless waifu). If you did, use her as off-damage like Modernia (don't burst her) to keep her somewhat useful.

There goes my hope that SSR versions would keep Counters relevant in end-game. Will wait on reviews when the next SSR Counters unit gets released before rolling to avoid a similar mistake.

And thank you Shift-up and Tencent, for making it easier to NOT give you any money. I can easily afford all the big releases coming out in a few months now, since i'm not dumping money on this dumpster fire that constantly betrays fan expectations. /rant
