**[THIS IS ONLY FOR ENSEMBLE STARS!! BASIC]**

As promised from my previous note, I'll be putting up my tips and ideas on how to obtain a 5star event card from little to no dia consumption. That would also mean no event bonus cards. Quick note: this is only for when you are trying to reach 1.1mil for the 1st copy.
1. Unit Team
Unit Team is what build your Event points; not the amount of times you've played the course with a high score and converts them into points [remember: this is basic, not music]. Your unit team determines the number of fans you can gather to complete a live milestone needed. The higher the level, the more power it requires to complete.
There's 3 team units, Dance Units [DA], Vocal Units [VO], and Performance Unit [PF], and each units are divided in 3 parts: Main Unit, Sub Unit (SU) 1 and SU 2. Your Main should be the one with the highest power, both as a team and as an individual card, for better results as it is the one that will activate during the live. The bigger the number, the better advantage, and less of LP usage. LPs are essentials as they are the ones that will make a move during the event. It does not matter how many times you've played the course over and over again, if you ain't getting a live, you ain't moving high.
The points you get starts off small and gradually gives bigger points as you lvl up the lives, so don't get too discourage when starting out!
According to the fandom wiki, it is recommended to have your unit team at around 500k. It's a good power, but it won't hold you long when it comes to the Emergency lives, which I'll be discussing later one. I suggest making it higher like around 560k would be a better start. This is why the you need to be wise when using LPs and not just consume it whenever a live appear.
Speaking of Lives, as I have been talking about it for quite a while now;
2. Lives
There are 4 kinds of lives, and one is excluded during tour events. These are: Normal, Rare, Unit, and Emergency Lives
On Normal Event types like Chocolat Rogue and Ruby Event, lives consists of 2 Normals, 2 Rares, 1 Unit and 1 Emergency (Special cases like Corscate Knights event where there's 2 Emergency lives)
Normal Lives at max tend to give out 2k~2.4k. First Normal live can reach up to lvl 45; second Normal live can reach up to lvl 30, both needed 2mil fans to complete. Personally I do NOT recommend on pursuing normal lives as they just drag out and give small event points and a waste of LPs, unless it’s a tour event.
That can also be said the same with Unit Lives, which only gives out 500~600 ep, which only requires 100k team power to complete. Unlike Normal, however, Unit Lives tend to be generous when it comes to free item drops like gold ticket, medium and large status pieces, and, in very rare occasions, the 5star event card itself. Yes it is possible to get a free 5star event card from doing Unit lives, but the chances of getting one is really really low so don't expect to get one. //unless you're really extremely lucky, in which case good for you ((grudging in silence)).
Now onto the Lives that really matters.
Since the only way to get Emergency lives is after you play the first live (normal, rare or unit), rare live(s) is/are your only choice if you're only aiming for higher ep. The second rare, much like the second normal live, only shows up when the event is halfway done (aka the 5th day of the event), so you're stuck with the first rare live for now.
First Rare live can reach up to lvl 30, with the 4mil fan requirement, which gives you 6k or 7.2k points. So just focus on pursuing on the first rare lives til the other one becomes available.
"But do we really need to play the other rare? We would have to start from lvl 1 with a small number of ep and the event is already halfway done."
While you might find it useless to start again from lvl 1 of the other rare, it's actually a better one than the first: Second Rare live can reach up to lvl 20, with the 6mil fan requirement, which gives you 9k or 10.8k points. 9k ep is already a huge number compare to 6k or 7.2k, even better if you can get the 10.8k points from it instead.
Weewoo weewoo, got 10 minutes to spare? it's time for EMERGENCY (or urgent) LIVES !!
You either hate them or love them, but mostly love them cuz they do give a huge number of ep. Emergency live at lvl 15 max gives you 16k or 19.2k ep. That is already better. However, the problem with Emergency lives is that, when you use 10 or more LPs to complete a live, it won't let you proceed to the next lvl, it would actually make you go back one lvl from your current lvl.
E.g.: A lvl 13 emergency live showed up and it took 10 lps to complete, the next emergency live would be a lvl 12.
It will continue to loop between the two levels until you can complete the live with 9 or less LPs. And this is where the Team power that I talked about a while ago comes into play.
500k is a recommended power, but it's also the minimum required to get through a lvl 15 with 9-10 LPs. Meaning a chance of going back and forth between lvl 14 and 15 is still high, especially if your team didn't bother proccing their skills. Using 6 LPs means x10 from the unit team power. That would mean 500 000*10 = 5 000 000. Which is only 3 million short. That's the thing. For it to reach 3 million fans, it is in a need of 4 more LPs for the x6 multiplier of the unit team. Nonetheless, you would have to use 10 LPs for one lvl 15 emergency live.
Man, I've been talking about lives from Normal/Shuffle events, let's talk about Tour events now!
The way tour works in basic is pretty much like on Music, but the amount of Lives you finish racks up through out the event. And since it is easier to get a 5star card during tour (unless picked the memorial coins for day 30), you can utilize the normal lives that comes within, as Day 30 requires you to complete a live 300 times. Tour doesn't have Unit lives, so there's no chances of getting a 5star card for free from the item box. That would also mean you'll be getting less items from the event.
3. Items
All of them are vital: Sandwiches, Gummies, Smoothies, Cyalumes, you name it. They are very essential when starting for the new event. Sandwiches refill your AP entirely, Gummies are used to refill LPs one at a time, Smoothies are the equivalent of Sandwiches but for LPs. Cyalumes are event-used items that forces a live to come to you instead of randomly getting one by luck chance. Be warned, if you're going to use cyalumes to get the 5star early and stop at that point, it would be of best interest to stop and only use it when you want to get multiple copies of the said 5star event card, or have no time so you speedran it. But since this is a guide on using to little to no dia consumption, it's best to ignore it. Unlike the rest of the items (sandwiches, gummies, smoothies), cyalume is the only event item that does not have an expiration date. My advice is to hoard as many cyalumes for the future events that you would tier for 3 or more copies of the card.
3.a. Logins
Two kinds of Logins: Normal and Special. Normal logins only gives you 1 cyalume per day reset. Special logins gives 200 gummies on the first day, 10 sandwiches on the second day, and 1 cyalume on the third til the final day. Knowing when the event will give a special login is definitely a good thing to plan out. While event has already started 9 hours ago, you don’t have to worry much on waiting for LPs to refill especially if you plan on continuing to produce for the event for the next hour or so.
4. Time Management
Time is limited, and so does the event. Basic lasts for 10 days with 9 login-day rewards; a bit longer than Music. That would mean more time to continue grinding for the 5star card. It takes 15 minutes for 1 LP, that means it takes 2 and a half hours for it to be fully refill.
4.a. Timer
What I would do is to time myself for 2:13~2:15 when my LP depletes to 0 or 1, so that when I open the game again, I can at least know that I still have 15 minutes left before it could refill back up and not worry that I exceeded the limit.
But of course, following on what I do isn't a necessity. Especially this would disrupt your sleep (do not be like me who has a terrible sleeping schedule and a bad insomnia). Play at your own pace. Just remind yourself that you still have those LP that you could use for the lives.
4.b. AP Rank Up
Ranking up is another way for your LP to fill up. This is also why I check on my rank exp in case I get to rank up the moment I hit the DLFS to finish the course. Remember the sandwiches I mentioned? The best day to use them is during Sunday Courses for double rank exp. Akatsuki Sunday Course costs 40 AP and rewards you with 800 exp. Since the cap for exp ranking is 5000, you would only need to use 280 AP (7 games) to rank up and overflow the AP. This is also the reason why Sunday is the most hectic and the busiest time to grind for the event.

That's pretty much all of them that I can currently think of right now. Again, I'm too busy with Limbus that I think I left some things there but oh well.
