speaking of the god who knows it all, (she's not, technically. the irminsul is) does en omniscience ever need probability theory?

even if we "cut" the future from omniscience, meaning it wouldn't know about future by itself, but it could still predict what will happen with 100% certainty.

example: an omniscience having a bet on a coin flip. while the coin is spinning in the air, it can predict by calculating every factor in the universe: wind speed, air pressure, coin's weight, spinning speed, and/or that there might a plane crashing on the site., to determine if the coin would land on it's head or tail. and win.

then, do omniscience ever need probability? since everything we could ask, the answer would be either definite yes, or not at all.
it might, I mean definitely know about the theory of probability, but did it need it?

"what about some unexpected event that may occur?" well, an omniscience would definitely know about it. since it knows everything that occured in the past through the present, and arguably, the future. (but the premise is to cut the future part) so nothing would interrupt it from predicting something.
That was usually some cliche in a work of fiction. either to let audience see that even an "onmiscience" figure actually doesn't know everything, or because their range of power is limited by something.

"living creature such as human, animal, etc. is unpredictable", but we already know how a colony of bird went migrating when it hot or cold. bear would go to long sleep in winter, etc. there's alot of factor playing in the table. and I'm not talking only about past experience, trauma, alternative choices, motive, emotion, etc. but also amount of hormone, chemical reaction inside the brain, blood tension, which scientifically also play roles of making decision. so an omniscience would have a chance (maybe a definite skill) to determine what will going to happen.

have your brain fried yet? an omniscience would know the answer. but I'm not.
