The myth said that on this day1582,  Akechi Mitsuhide decided to betray his king Oda Nobunaga, and started to plan the famous Honnō-ji Inciden.

Betrayal is a common plot in anime too, not only good guys turns out to be bad, but the other way around too, the more unexpected, the more it can surprise the audience.
