Now What?

i have completed the beginner quests. now what do i do?  i spent several hours summoning using tickets and merging character dupes. i dont know what to do now. where's the story banner? or which one is it?

i have not yet learned how my party jumped in xp. maybe its the idle mode? im lost right now.
