[iRant] — 🤦How to kill your game/franchise🤦
So 2 things I have been noticing in games I really enjoy and those are great examples of what kills a game and discourages players to continue.
Time to address those issues in public. The 2 games concerned:&For Gunpla Warfare, many veterans are sort of leaving and the player base is dropping. Given the current environment, it's not surprising. A new player can easily pull a new 7★ Parts which are significantly more powerful than the existing 6★ or 5★ Parts. With the stronger and more potential parts, low level players easily out-power veteran. Hence, in 1v1 Arena, there are fewer people playing. Whereas in 3v3 Arena, the overall power is still a major factor, so fewer new players are even attempting that//have reached the necessary power level. Both mean that there are less competitions in the arena. It also means in general, more people are finding the game rewarding or are feeling comfortable at the state of the game. There are players changing their names, expressing their concerns in the new patch.
Whenever developers introduce new system to the original one, they should beware of the damages brought to the players when implemented. Seriously, they earn more than we do. Do we have to literally SPELL EVERYTHING OUT for them EVERY SINGLE TIME? Maybe we should be getting paid to do their jobs for them instead?
As usual, it's Bandai here, so somewhere between next month and the future months, they will be overcompensating again. So if you are suffering on both fronts, you can just lay low and wait a bit. Or like the rest of them, make a new account and get yourselves some 7★ Parts. Well, there are always players leaving...and for now, the general population does feel like hitting a new low.
As for Wild Rift, YouTube Channel: ProGuide's Wild Rift sub-channel (link: ), they have mentioned that in their video before: ELO Inflation.
What surprises me most is that, in a Plat-Emerald game, I was playing support as usual, and I noticed my Vayne was way below Bronze. The "Tumbling In", the "Suicide Pathing", the "Irresponsive Reactions", the "BAD POSITIONING"...
No offense, I am Iron 4 ADC in the eyes of my Platinum-Challenger friends. I have never achieved a perfect ADC play in my career (80% of a perfect ADC play is my personal best). My builds are always questionable. However, I don't make mistakes on pathing or making huge mistakes in positioning badly in a teamfight. When I am that bad and I see someone WORSE than me, I instantly know this will be a losing lane and I had to put on THE DMG BUILD.
Eventually, we won the match, but Vayne died consistently. The Emerald Jungler added me in the end, despite me being BM'd pre-game on TALKING SHITs to everyone like every players...
I look at the Emerald Jungler's profile...he played only 20 sth games and he is Emerald...yet, in-game, he made several serious mistakes of overstaying and absence of map awareness. Does he seem as skillful as my other Emerald friends? Nope. Not even remotely. Hence, ELO Inflation is very real. There are players who aren't as good, yet getting higher ELO (BTW, the ADC is a Plat with negative win rate...40% is really bad).
The overall quality of games is degrading. It has been a problem in the past; now this is a menace (I had a smurf game on Unrank account...I got placed against fully Ranked enemies from Plat-Emerald while my team is consisted of Gold-Emerald...my teammates are so DISORIENTED from mid-game onwards, literally the game is like a ROLLER COASTER RIDE...).
The game is barely playable at its state...(I honestly don't mind players going bonkers if they HAVE the SKILL...but when your skill does set the team backwards...maybe tune that WAY DOWN and stop throwing the game?).
In the end, I tilted the enemy carries so hard, I feel like reporting myself for being a toxic support...
(Games with 0 death and positive 20+ KDA...)
Still, I hate EVERY GAME I am queueing up, even if the waiting time is 2/8mins long, the 15 mins games are still TOXIC AS F@¢K. Not because the players are being toxic (okay, I'll admit, my Lulu and Nami gameplay do seem to be highly LETHAL and TOXIC to my enemies...), but the entire team seemed including the enemies look nothing like their shown ELOs...
(Yeah...that's me in Rank games...)
