Hours ago the producer of the Square Enix self-made game Final Fantasy XIV, Naoki Yoshida, announced that the sale of the game and the registration of the trial accounts have been suspended because of the out-of-control long wait time since the Early Access of its latest expansion Endwalker started on Dec 3.
What a shame, I got a few friends still playing FFXIV and I was just considering joining them in this renowned MMORPG's world. The reason for the suspension was due to the unexpectedly large amount of players swarming and making the server reach its maximum capacity.
I used to be an enthusiastic World of Warcraft player, and according to one of my friends who just joined, it's a game that has many features in common so I probably will be able to get used to the gameplay soon enough.
Have any one of you guys played the game or is currently an active player? Is this game worth playing at all?
