** Anime News Update - Toei Animation vs Content Creator? **

Yesterday, a #Youtube anime content creator, Totally Not Mark, got 150+ removed from #ToeiAnimation.
Here is his response to #ToeiAnimation:
To summarize his points, Toei Animation took down many of his Dragon Ball and One Piece review videos.
Mark also added that among the 150+ videos, some of them did not include any footage of the original anime but were still claimed by Toei Animation.
Moreover, Mark actually had an official collab with Toei Animation.
After Mark's video is out, the western anime community and content creators are outraged about Toei Animation.
Most of them support Mark's viewpoint that his use of anime footage is under the protection of the Fair Use rules.
However on the other hand, Japanese netizen are supporting Toei Animation's action.
They believe that the company has the right to claim the videos if the creators use the anime footages without permission.
This is an controversial issue due to cultural difference among the foreign and Japan community as suggested by another anime creators, Joey.
